Hi there! My name is Maggie. I am passionate about Montessori and hope to share that with you. Since the birth of my daughter in 2019, I have discovered the benefits of the Montessori method and witnessed them in action each and every day.
I hold Bachelor’s Degrees in education and communication, and after 6 years of teaching in a public school setting, I now stay home to teach and explore Montessori practices with my own family. Before having children, I was unaware that there were any other methods of parenting and education besides the traditional methods.
Why Montessori?
As my husband and I prepared for the birth of our daughter, we accidentally stumbled upon Maria Montessori’s works and were surprised to discover how closely they aligned with our own views and beliefs. From then on, I have been working on educating myself about Montessori and diving into it on a daily basis with my little one.
The purpose of the Montessori Site is to share knowledge, tips and ideas about the Montessori method in a way that is simple to understand and applicable to any home and family setting.
